Named after a Catholic institute in Autun that owned the entire plot before the division of the land following the French Revolution (18th century), Clos Saint Jean is an iconic vintage for Chassagne’s reds and is also favourable to the expression of Chardonnay thanks to its exposure, moderate slope and deep soils. One third of our Clos Saint Jean is planted with white grapes.
