Named after a Catholic institute in Autun that owned the entire plot before the division of the land following the French Revolution (18th century), Clos Saint Jean is an iconic vintage for Chassagne’s reds. Its exposure, moderate slope and deep soils favour the expression of Pinot Noir with notes of subtle, peppery red fruits, which reveal themselves all the more when left to age for several years.
